TGIF Challenge #tgif226 Splatter!

Welcome to my blog! This is my first time playing along with TGIF challenge!

For the background Ive blended Granny Apple Green ink along with Balmy Blue in for the sky then very little Night of Navy.  After stamping the sentiment I used the Subtle 3D Embossing folder to add texture.  The greeting is from the Stampin Up Friend Like You stamp set and the Friendly Silhouettes Die was used for the wild flower border. Ribbon is Stampin Up black lace.

This is the watercolor paper that I used the Pigment Sprinkles to create then die cut the flower border. I applied Stampin Up Frost White Shimmer paint randomly to some of the flowers to add some shimmering interest although it is hard to see in the photograph.

 The theme is encouragement and Ive made this fast and easy fun fold card using the Painted Harvest stamp set from Stampin Up.
Supplies:
Blueberry Bushel card stock 4 1/4 by 11" scored at 5 1/2. Cut 2 3/4 from the front of the card, flip it around and that is the base for the front layer.
Crushed curry card stock for the layer
White card stock
Blueberry Bushel, Crushed Curry and Call Me Clover ink pads
Crushed Curry ribbon
Timeless label punch

Stampin Up August Paper Pumpkin Kit Alternatives

Fun tip for August Paper Pumpkin

I used the Subtle Stampin Up embossing folder on the small vellum leaf and it gives it a bit of added texture.  This is a great kit. It’s too late to purchase this kit but you still have time to purchase next months kit. If you purchase Paper Pumpkin from my store, you will receive a free tutorial for alternative ideas for your kit that features cards from several top demonstrators. It’s a great way to get extra ideas for free!

Today I am sharing a card with matching gift box. The box could be used for small gift or gift card.
Supplies needed to create this:
Green card stock 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2
White card stock 4 1/8 x 5 1/4
Perennial Essence DSP 4 x 5 1/8
Subtle embossing folder for DSP and Band
Parcels & Petals bundle for box-cut 2 of the die to tape together
Band Together stamp set and Detailed Bands Dies
Blueberry Bushel ink
White Flax Ribbon
Woven Threads Sequins
Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Daisy Lane Fun Fold All Occasion Card

Ive used the Daisy Lane Stamp Set with the Large Daisy Punch and the Timeless Label Punch along with the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper for this cheerful fun fold card.
Supplies you will need:
Blueberry Bushel card stock base 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 the from the front of the card cut 2 3/4 off.  This is what becomes the base for the front layer, just flip it around.
Ive used Crushed Curry  and Perennial Essence  for the layers 1/8" smaller.
The Daisy is Blueberry Bushel stamped in Blueberry Bushel in and punched using the Daisy Punch. Crushed Curry ribbon is used for the double bow and secured with glue dot.
White card stock lines the inside card cut at 4  X 5 1/4

I’ve used the Country Home Stampin Up stamp set with the 3D Embossing folder Brick and Mortar. Card bases Very Vanilla
Brick and Mortar are Pretty Peacock and Terracotta Tile with the Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Pretty Peacock and Terracotta Tile.
Crumb Cake base on the Pretty Peacock and for the milk can.
Stitched Nested Labels dies was used on the pitcher card.

Memorable Mosaic With Hummingbird Birthday card

I’ve used the Memorable Mosaic Stampin Up stamp set with the Timeless Label Punch for this Happy Wishes Card. Card base is the So Saffron cardstock, with the Mosaic Mood DSP and the Scalloped Linen ribbon with the Terracotta Tile trim.  The greeting is stamped with Terracotta Tile ink and popped up with the Stampin Dimensionals. Adventures in watercoloring using Magnolia Embossing folder

I wanted to try out some different techniques using the Stampin Up Magnolia 3D Embossing folder. I’ve used the aqua painter with ink and on the Crumb Cake card I used the Stampin Up watercolor pencils then smoothed with a small amount of water.  So fun finding more ways to use the embossing folder.
